Interior Design Coaching is for you when you know your DIY design could be better, and you need support to improve it. You’re a design aficionado who enjoys researching furniture, sourcing materials and DIY painting, but feels overwhelmed making final decisions. You need help staying on track, on budget, and appreciate being guided through the process with someone you trust.
After five 60-minute Zoom consultations with Becka over the span of four months, you’ll learn how to see the big picture, identify your own personal style, and when your project’s complete you’ll have gained both a beautiful home and the knowledge of how you got there.

Home Visits
When you want a comprehensive creative meeting within your space
Live in the Greater New York City area? Sometimes you want a second opinion, need someone to help you with colors and finishes and troubleshoot a layout in person, or edit and style the details with a trusted design advisor. This is a great option if you’re planning a variety of projects throughout your home and not just one room.
You can schedule a home visit as an a la carte service, or as an add-on to another package. You’ll receive a recap and notes of resources, goals, and review of our time together.

Each design project is its own unique journey, subject to variables such as contractor schedules, lead times, and availability.
In order to keep your project on track, Becka will listen to your priorities, help you set realistic goals, and manage them throughout the process. Some clients may feel eager to just get it done, while others prefer to go slow and steady—both are ok! Becka’s goal is to always honor your individual needs while being respectful of our time together.
Absolutely! Items that are sentimental, tell a personal story, or fit your unique style are so important in creating spaces. At the start of your project, we will assess any existing furniture or fixtures that are working in your space and strategize on how to build complimentary designs around these pieces.
Becka can guide you through the process of taking simple measurements of your space, or recommend a service that can provide this for you.
Most furniture and home accessory stores (West Elm, CB2, Restoration Hardware, EQ3, to list a few) offer designers exclusive trade discounts ranging from 5-20%. Should you choose to order any furniture or fixtures while working with Becka, these discounts will be passed on to you.
The more prepared you are, the more we can accomplish in our time together. I recommend you compile a document with inspiration from samples, images, links, and photos or floor plans of the space. If we are doing a walkthrough of the space (virtual or in person) make sure areas are cleared of clutter and that relevant areas are visible.
Yes! Please have all materials ready to go before our scheduled time together.
You are able to cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours beforehand for a full refund. Any cancellations and/or reschedules beyond that will politely be declined and charged in full.
